“The staff were all super lovely and overall it was a fun day. The village is where they’ve found evidence of the earliest permanent settlement in Fiji and the experience was taken very seriously so it felt welcoming and a good insight into traditional culture. The mud crab catching is definitely just a small pit stop along the river journey and we didn’t get to eat them or see them prepared. The island has a bit of a faded glam feel and my pedicure was not salon quality. But the buffet food was good, the beach is nice and quiet, there was a nice mix of free activities to opt…”
